All Fridley Aquatics programs and classes are held at the
Fridley Middle School Pool - 6100 W. Moore Lake Drive.
The Fridley Community Education Aquatics Program offers swimming classes for all ages from 6 months to adult, as well as classes suited to the various skill levels of participants. Female Only Lessons are offered periodically for those females who, due to religious considerations require a female only environment for swimming.
We teach swimming classes using the Red Cross Swimming Program and all Swimming Instructors and Lifeguards are Red Cross certified.
Open recreational swimming is available on Saturdays during the school year, and on weekdays during the summer. (See Open Recreational Swimming Schedule) Lap swimming is available during Open Swim hours - simply ask a Lifeguard for a Lap Lane.

Pool Closure Information:
Fridley Public Schools Department of Community Education would like to give you an important update on the Fridley Middle School pool. Since mid-March, our pool has been closed for repairs that included tile replacement and grouting. While this work was recently completed, we discovered that sections of the drainage pipes underneath the pool had weakened and caused segments of the pool’s floor tiling to buckle.
This unexpected issue has forced us to close the pool until July 31, so that construction work can begin to repair the pool floor.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused and will issue a refund for all cancelled sessions and bookings.
Our goal is to provide the best service to all our students, families and community members who use our pool. So while this is a temporary inconvenience, we look forward to the reopening of the pool and welcoming you back to great swimming experiences in the Fridley Middle School pool this Fall.
Again we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.
