Flyer Approval

Fridley Public Schools uses Peachjar, a digital flyer management system to disseminate flyers and other information to parents and families. This 'green' initiative saves our district tons of paper and reduces copy costs by thousands of dollars.

School approved flyers are sent directly to parents emails and posted on the school's Peachjar website.

Fridley Public Schools permits the distribution of announcements and other information to students and families according to School Board Policy 904.  Only materials that pertain directly to school, school-related activities or child-centered activities will be approved for distribution.  The district will not distribute commercial or political advertising.

We invite community partners to register with Peachjar as the first step in uploading their flyers to be distributed to our schools.  After a flyer has been submitted, it will be routed to the Communications and Community Relations Office for approval. All flyers are approved every Wednesday. All flyers will be posted weekly, and parents will be notified by email.

School related groups such as PTO's should contact their specific school office.

Please contact the Communications and Community Relations Office at communications@fridley.k12.mn.us if you have any questions.

School districts rely on state and local funding to support and maintain their schools. On November 5, 2019, Fridley Public Schools will ask its community to approve an operational referendum. Funds from operational levies are used to support academic programs for students, staffing and student support services such as social emotional learning and mental health services.

Each year, the Fridley-Columbia Heights Rotarians visit the classrooms of Stevenson and Hayes Elementary Schools to deliver a special gift - dictionaries for every third grader at Fridley Public Schools.

Fridley Public Schools is hosting a second Operating Levy Referendum Informational Meeting on October 23, 2019. Parents and community members are invited to attend this free event to learn more about the operating levy.

On Wednesday, October 23, all Fridley Public Schools students and staff are encouraged to wear orange in support of Unity Day and bullying prevention.
